3mFM Market @ Archies Creek – Stallholders

Thankyou for your interest & support. No future markets are planned at this stage, but are under consideration.

Join us at Archies Creek Hall

The 3mFM Market is held on the first Saturday of each month at the Archies Creek Hall. (Except no market on 1st Jan – New Years Day)

As part of 3mFM’s on-air & social-media promotion of the market, regular Stallholders will be featured.

Vendors do not need to commit to all the Markets.  Vendors may select which months to attend, noting that space is limited and all applications are subject to 3mFM approval.

Indoor vendors will be provided a standard trestle table to sell from.  Outdoor vendors will be provided a 3m x 3m space for a standard gazebo.  Requests for larger or smaller sites may be approved, subject to additional conditions.

Stallholder setup & access

Vehicles are NOT permitted onsite. Stallholders will need to carry / trolley equipment & stock from the roadway. A 2 or 4-wheel trolley with chunky wheels is advisable.

Hall – Area A: Inside stalls can use ramp at side entrance door.

Tennis Court – Area B: Outside stalls on the asphalt tennis court will walk across front grass & through pedestrian gate in front tennis court fence.

Open & Close times

6:00am : Opens to Stallholders.

7:30am: Stallholder vehicles to be moved away from front of hall to allow patron access.

8:00am: Opens to the public.

2:00pm: Closes to the public

2:15pm: Stallholder vehicles allowed back near hall (road only, not onsite).

2:45pm: Closes to Stallholders.

IMPORTANT extracts from the COVIDSafe plan:

  • All Patrons, Stallholders & Volunteers must scan QR code on entry to the Market.
  • All Patrons, Stallholders & Volunteers must wear a face mask (always covering both the mouth & nose) as per public health advice.
  • Stallholders must remind patrons about physical distancing.

COVID-19 Vaccination is mandated for all stallholders & market staff/volunteers

This requirement impacts ALL markets in Victoria, not just ours.

All persons working at a market stall must provide proof of vaccination by submitting a copy of their Vaccination Certificate for our records.

The Acting Chief Health Officer has released directions under the Public Health and Well Being Act.

Market stallholder personnel must not attend the November 6th Market@ Archies Creek unless they are partially or fully vaccinated.

Partially vaccinated stallholders must have received two doses of a COVID-19 Vaccine by 26 November 2021.

It is also a requirement that you supply 3mFM with a copy of your Vaccination Certificates, so that we can show them, if required, to the Health Department.

You can obtain a certificate in PDF format online through the MyGov and Medicare platforms.

You MUST send us a copy of your Vaccination Certificate(s) by either:

  • Attaching them to the online stallholder application form.
  • Emailing them to market@3mfm.com.au
  • Posting paper copies to “3mFM Market”, P.O. Box 144 Inverloch VIC 3996.

Please understand that this is not a policy of 3mFM, but that these are directives from the Government that 3mFM and all staff, volunteers & market stallholders must comply with.

Penalties are up $109,044.00 for the Station and $21,808.80 for a person.

Insurance & Food/Alcohol Permits

Each stallholder is required to be covered by Public Liability Insurance.

Stallholders selling food &/or alcohol are required to have the appropriate permits.

Prior to market day, we require copies of all insurance & permit documents (eg: Certificate of Currency , StreetTrader).

Once we have these documents on file, we do not need further copies, unless they have expired.

We prefer that you have your own insurance. If you attend a few markets each year, it will work out cheaper for you.

No insurance? No stall.

If you do not have own cover, a surcharge of $35 per market will be charged to provide cover under an extension to our own market insurance. We make no income from arranging this insurance for you. Again, we prefer that your arrange your own.

Stall fee schedule

Market site prices for Oct/Nov 2021 have been set as follows (3mFM reserves the right to review prices for subsequent markets):

Fees are inclusive of GST.

  • Area A – Inside hall (with Heating & A/C), 1.8m (6′) table supplied by market: $25 per table per market.
  • Area B – Outside, on sealed surface: 3m x 3m space. Gazebo / tables supplied by stallholder: $30 per space per market.
  • Area D/E: Vans & large stalls with vans (outside on front grass / concrete): Please contact us about fees.
  • Public Liability Cover (If you do not have your own): $35 per stallholder per market (not per stall if multiple stalls booked).

Payment receipt

We generally do not issue receipts. Your bank transfer will provide you with necessary documentation. If you require a receipt, please contact accounts@3mfm.com.au.

Internet access

There is no NBN or WiFi available. For EFTPOS payments, you will need to bring mobile cellphone equipment.

Telstra, Optus & Vodaphone coverage maps all report good 3G & 4G access.

Archies Creek locals tell us that Telstra & Optus coverage is good.

Market cancellation

If, for any reason, the market is cancelled (such as due to public health restrictions), stallholders will be notified by email using the email address used in the application form. The website market page will also be updated to indicate the cancellation.

Any stall fees paid will be held in credit for the next market (or refunded by request).

If a stallholder is unable to attend due to COVID lockdown restrictions, the same credit & refund policy applies. Stallholders are expected to notify us ahead of time if they cannot attend due to such restrictions.
