Step into Spring at the Leongatha Gallery up the round steps opposite the Post Office.
“Springtime” is the theme of the current display.
As well as the Blue Wrens which have hatched early, there are ceramic bell birds, ducks and chooks, toadstools and garden girls.
Flowers feature prominently on the greeting cards and in the array of framed paintings. The scroll-sawn “Three Little Pigs” and the “Three Bears” have come to visit and admire the exquisite embroidery.
Make sure to check out the alcohol ink paintings and cards. You will also find warm, colourful knitwear and weaving.
Added to that, the beading, woodwork, glassware and jewellery will keep you browsing for quite a while in this warm, pleasant setting.
All of the stock is made by local artists and craftspeople who are members of the Leongatha Art and Craft Society.
Also in the courtyard the Woodies will have their tent and working display – woodturning and scrollsawing – and table of finished goods. You will even have the opportunity to create your own pyrography masterpiece.
Access is up the round steps or the ramp in Michael Place.
When: During the Daffodil Festival.
