Who we are

We broadcast from three FM radio transmission towers across South Gippsland:

• 88.1MHz – Central: Korumburra, Leongatha, Wonthaggi, Inverloch.
• 89.1MHz – West: Phillip Island, San Remo, Bass.
• 89.5MHz – East: Foster, Yarram, Wilsons Promontory.

We also broadcast via Internet Live Streaming & Podcasts

3mFM is a Community Radio Station broadcasting from Inverloch, Victoria and is run by the community for the community.

3mFM operations are overseen by a Board of Management, elected by financial members at the Annual General Meeting.

3mFM is proud to broadcast a variety of different musical styles

• The daytime format features popular music from the 60’s to today
• Specialist programs cover Country, Jazz, Celtic, Classical, Blues, 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s,  Heavy Metal, New Release Indie and much more.

The listening area encompasses a region of 41,000 square kilometres bounded by Phillip Island in the west, Lang Lang, Mirboo North and Boolarra to the north, Yarram to the east and Wilsons Promontory in the south.

It includes Bass Coast and South Gippsland Shires and a small area of Cardinia and Wellington Shires. The major towns in this region are Cowes, San Remo, Wonthaggi, Korumburra, Leongatha, Inverloch, Foster and Yarram.

There are about 70,000 permanent residents in our listening area, this number is rapidly growing and swells significantly in coastal areas, particularly over Summer
