Suicide Prevention Meeting-Leongatha
February 1 @ 7:00 pm
Come along to Wesley LifeForce’s meeting to consider establishing a network program in South Gippsland for suicide prevention. The purpose is to provide support and practical help for those affected.
More than 2,000 Australians end their own lives every year affecting families, friends, workplaces and communities. People of all demographics die by suicide and the causes often appear to be a complex interplay of adverse life events and psychosocial, cultural and geographic factors.
The South Gippsland area, like other regions, has been affected by suicide.
Recently, Wesley LifeForce has consulted mental health service providers to discuss the possibility of establishing the Wesley LifeForce network program for the people of South Gippsland. You are invited to attend the community proposal meeting to learn more about the framework. If your community elects to proceed with the proposal, Wesley LifeForce will provide support and practical help to establish the network. If you’re interested go to the Salvation Army Corp, at 2 Long St, Leongatha for 7pm. RSVP 0417 932 602 or by email firstname.lastname@example.org. Anyone experiencing any personal difficulties can contact Lifeline on 131114.
