Why is 3mFM publishing this CD?

To celebrate community resilience & looking to better times

This crazy year disconnected us from our friends, our families and for many of us from our livelihoods.

COVID has meant hard times for Community Radio

Frankly, we are struggling & need your financial support. Your purchase of this CD will directly help 3mFM.

Hard times for Local Musicians & Community

Isolation and unemployment of local musicians, industry people and the broader community posed the risk of emotional and mental health problems – and this made us think that we needed a way to create a positive perspective for our collective future.

3mFM, in our commitment to good music and local communities, decided to do something that would help bring a little end of year cheer to our communities… so we took a leap of faith that local musicians would be willing to help us to produce a CD of Christmas songs that reflect our unique, southern Gippsland experience at this time of year.

What’s in it for you?

We wanted an album of songs that we could all connect to in some way – and we think we’ve got it.

The songs are a wonderful reflection of the talented musicians we have in our region both in originality and in quality – so thank you to all of them for their contributions.

We hope the process has helped ease the loneliness of lockdown or at the least provided something entertaining to do.

We love the spirit, the intention and the music on this CD and hope you do too.

Our thanks to…

  • Ian W. Beer – production studio and chief muso wrangler
  • Keachange – the most generous, amenable and flexible band
  • All the Writers, Musicians and Singers who contributed to the CD
  • David Hubble – Logomotion Graphic Design – Lovely local cover art
  • South Gippsland Sentinel Times – Advertising
  • Our own 3mFM Crew
